Titan’s Consolidated Profit Nearly Doubles in Fiscal Q3; EPS, Revenue Top Estimates

Titan (TITAN, BOM:500114) consolidated profit attributable to the owners jumped to 10.04 billion Indian rupees ($134.4 million) in the fiscal third quarter from 5.25 billion rupees a year ago, according to a Thursday filing.

Earnings per share for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2021, climbed to 11.31 rupees from 5.92 rupees a year earlier. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected an EPS of 7.75 rupees.

Meanwhile, the revenue of the luxury products company jumped increased on year to 99.03 billion rupees from 72.43 billion rupees, beating the 82.46 billion-rupee revenue estimate by analysts polled by Visible Alpha.
